black mill photoset 3: i guess summer is finally over, so i have collected together the remaining photos from black mill for the final picture set from there before the spring (unless it freezes!) on the left is the blur of me over tims new line. only the first was really running, but its a lot bigger and throws you nice and high. in the spring hopefully it will be a nice 10 pack. mmmmmmmm. below is a nice picture becky took of my bike fading into the sky.
tim on his line below. this jump was built in the heat of summer and had well over 100 litres of water poured over it to make it wet. it still cracked though.
there are some big plans for the trails for next summer. i hope it all works out. then we can plan trails trips and get people to come down for the day/weekend and ride all day.
for some reason these pictures looked better in monotone. i guess it kind of suits the mood of the jump. one jump by itself is not even half the fun of two.
me over my own third. this was a table attempt believe it or not. i have since discovered that if i call it a turndown attempt it seems a bit more feasable. or just style. yeh right. speaking of the right, that's tim on the same jump. i didn't cut it down so you can see all the tree and leaves. my line has been fitted in round the trees, which is good except when you hit them. last winter i didn't think that would be a problem as i hadn't envisaged (haha!) learning kickouts this year. so is that good or bad?
