On Saturday my car broke. I jacked it up to change the oil but the car slipped off the jack and cracked the bucket of oil spilling it all over my drive. We bought new one cheaply because the radiator was broken. It's a Nissan Bluebird which is a paki's car apparently. Racial. Then bought new radiator for £25 and fitted it in an hour. Good job. |

I was on holiday last week which was a lot of fun. Seb came down and we just dug and rode all the time. I learnt two lesson last week. One is not to make steep landings on small jumps. The other is that taking a week off work is a bad idea. After two or three days solid riding you are too tired to do it anymore. You need to rest. You can rest at work and get paid for it so don't take too many days off in a row. Left: Tim with his head in the trees on the boost jump in Deans line. Below: Emo Seb. Summer is here. The days are getting shorter and trails should be running smooth. That's right I did say the days are getting shorter again. That is scary. Around the 21st June is the summer solstice which means that the UK is about as close to the sun as it ever gets. This is supposed to make it warm and sunny as well as giving us long days. Well the solstice has passed up by and brought with it mostly rain. I was foruntate becasue I took my holiday the week earlier but it's still not a great start to the summer. That's someone riding their bike on some jumps somewhere. These trails were made by Jimmy and they are very smooth and fun. I should have taken more photos of the last jump as that is what people were tricking on, but I kind of forgot it was there becasue I couldn't get that far down the line. It really has rained a lot here and this is South East England so we should get the least rain of anywhere. That means this is your last your last chance to dig before the summer. Get out in the rain. You've got about 18 hours of light everyday. | ||
