Since I have had a cast on for the last 7 weeks I have had a lot of time to do other things than ride, so here is a photo diary of what I have been up to. These pictures were actually quite tricky to take. Yes that is pipe lagging on my bar. Rabbits. Warehouse ramps? Some dead trees. A bi-plane. We live near an aerodrome. A yellow flower. Dead bird. Here are some treehouse pictures. I like tree houses a lot. I thought that was funny. June. Where I came from. Whoops. More sub//vert if you look closely. Some old jumps. Well about a year old. Kids..... more sub//vert. Tom said this kid kindof had the wrong idea, but that it was a good name and had potential. I like this photo. Bit of a strange place. I think that gypsies live here sometimes. What kind of people live here? pikies. A friendly farmers sign. Nice isn't it. Reassuring. This is what the farmers are like round here. Kent has the most footpaths in Britain but more of them can't be used becasue the farmers have blocked them up I spent a lot of time walking around fields with not idea where the footpath was. In a way it works to your advantage because you just say you lost the path - it's easy to do. Swamp. I like this pictures too. I think this is a fishery. When you actually get outside and look around at the countryside you start to realise how many rich landowners there are. They own huge amounts of land while everyone else is packed into the cities. A lot of the land isn't even used but there's no way they'll share it. People like this run our country. Croquet. One of the meanest games ever invented. Nice expression. This is taken on the M40 by Waltlington. There are lots of Red Kites around this area. Becky loved red kits but these were all the pictures I managed to get. Red kites are birds of prey with forked tails. They are big and rare and the best thing is their shape. I can't see the fascination myself. I could never live in the city. Warrens. This is what I mean about wasted potential. Just an empty barn. I could live there. We also live near the straightest piece of train line in Europe or something. Hmm, the pictures are a bit muddled. Safe? I got pretty close to this fox but it took a while to get my camera out. Is that a rabbit or a hare? River. This is a derelict house just down the road from me. I could live here too. Thinking about squatting actually. A smashed window. Inside. It's actually a pretty nice house. Still got curtains and stuff. And a massive garden. Pikies. Traditional caravans. They live in a house though. I think this is pikies too. Fishing. Fish for tea. This rabbit let me get pretty close. Parachutists. Looks like fun actually. Only £15 a drop once you are trained. Becky's dad went gliding. He's in the front. looks pretty scared to me. The glider takes off before the plane pulling it. The landings look pretty shaky too. On the media. more croquet. Joe's house. Right leg elevated. New ride on my leg. I look like kebab. Surfers. Not worth the coldness in bournemouth. It was not a hot day. Looks like rain. Speed boat. We went to the arcade and Laura looked through all the machines and found some money and played some games. She came out with what she went in with.  I came out down about 10p. I found 2 pennies and got them changed for a 2p so I could play one more game. The man behind the counter was not amused. This woman was playing this machine for a long time, like, the whole time we were there. Go lorry penny. Then we went to the aquarium. This was a wise choice by Joe. Becky loves sharks more than shopping, more than red kites. More than anything I think. Even me. Rays are a kind of shark - because they have no bones in their body only a cartilage skeleton. Fishies. Terrapin. Catfish catfish I like this picture. Hello mr ray. This is a soft shelled chinese turtle. Looks like a mole to me. Colors Joe They nibbled your fingers. Girls don't like fish eating their fingers. There's a joke in there somewhere. They rushed to my hand really quickly. I think they thought it was food. Big tutrles Pirate woman feeding the fish. A shark. I think this is a black tipped reef shark, but I am probably wrong. Sharks tooth. Joe could have played on this all day. When he grows up he should be a security guard. Mmmmmmmmmm strawberries. "I love sharks more than bens". Colourful. I like this picture. That's an eel. Big writing. Sailing pictures. Mostly underexposed. Dingy Jasper, a bit tipsy. Becky's sandwiches. That is a big boat. Must be about 100 foot.  Something off James Bond. Becky at the helm. It's surprisingly cold at sea. Bad focus. Could live here too. There's a whole derelict village along this coast somewhere. Turn it into bmx ville. Race Nice sail colour. Macro. Battleship. This boat was super fast. Warship and tug. Sunk. Macro. Wing drying. Navy boys and girl. The sea is interesting. Laura shopping. These t-shirts are stupid. The printing is on the inside so on-one can see it. Sandles for £4 or something. Pizza boy. Asda pizzas = value. How much was this shopping then? This is a funny picture. What is the fruit? hmmmmm better look it up. Yep still not sure. Nice hair. Not a happy bunny. Joe and Laura are in there somewhere. New clio. Jeff Buckley on the CD player. Nice drive. Well that was pretty backwards but anyway that's how to kill 7 weeks in a cast. Sorry it wasn't more interesting but then I am the one who hasn't been able to ride for 7 weeks so you can't moan.
