27th August
Some good pictures from Maidstone Park. Look how wet it is! Craig Tull is good at photography.

25th August
Tea. I can't stand drinking tea, its such a pathetic, tastless, wishy washy drink. I feel like I am missing something.

24th August
Plans for the weekend? Its a bank holiday. I once dug quite a big six pack in a bank holiday weekend. It looked like this [more].

Its wetter than it was for quite a lot of the winter. Add to that incentive that if you dig now you will be able to ride the jumps in a week or so, you better brush the cobwebs off your spades.

Yak asked me to mention Blew BMX but I would have done anyway because it is amazin'.

23rd August
BMX GREECE - What an amazing website. Photos like this.

Joeys Jam was good. I have pictures but they are still on my camera.

It's raining a lot at the moment so its a good time to get your dig on. Should all dry out again in September I hope.

An update on something that was on here ages ago: depressing stuff. Some people will know what this is about.

19th August
Home. Jumps are wet.
This is amazing(stolen from wearehomegrown.co.uk).

14th August
Updating from an internet cafe in Guernsey. I was sick very many times yesterday. Rebekah was ok. Nothing else to say really. Its sunny here which sounds a lot better than in engerland so I am going to stop looking at boring computers and buy an ice cream.

11th August
A picture.

10th August
I am going away so no updates for a week. Lisa from GBH likes Regina Spektor and Thom Yorke, so I have promoted her skateparks for her. Here.

The Mole Man.

7th August
Looks like I have been riding all wrong for a long time: tenterden 03 what about spines? Should I still carve them left to right, or do most people do them right to left?

6th August
What way do you kick out/whip? I have always done it to the left (my back foot) but this year I keep doing it to my right. What do you find more comfortable/easy?

5th August
Five trampoline videos for you:
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5

4th August
How many runs do you do in a day? I reckon by the time I get to the trails and water and sweep I do somewhere between 10 and 20 runs in a normal day. More at weekends. This doesn't seem like a lot to me.

3rd August
It gets dark too early now. That gives me time to make webpages I guess. You won't be getting more updates for a while so enjoy this one: summer

New song by The Feeling is a strange one. I love it and hate it. It has a really good bit that goes "never be the same without you" but then there are other bits that annoy me.

2nd August
It's summer and I am busy. Busy at work (new website going live today), busy at the jumps, busy busy busy.

28th July
Watch This.

27th July
So hot.
Thought of another band name - SnakeLegs

  • Sleep a bit [but got woken up by the postman delivering my shoes and new bike bites]
  • Listen to music [Regina Spektor]
  • Not watch any TV [only watched Futurama and QI so not too bad]

22nd July
New pictures on right.

21st July
If you liked the Ricky Gervais Podcasts you should also give the Russell Brand Show a listen.

19th July

The meeting last night was pretty interesting. It sounded like there might be some sort of compromise between people who want to use the trails and people who want to use the wood for other things, but KCC didn't even bother turning up and its their land, so in a way the meeting was a bit pointelss.

What was really good though was how many riders turned up to support the trails, and how well behaved they were. Before the meeting we were asked to be polite and listen to each other and only make constuctive comments. It was really interesting to see half the room, full of young, angry, riders keeping their cool and staying polite and civil, while the other half of the room, full of "well to do", well educated residents, embarrased themselves by heckling the BMXers whenever they spoke, interupting and being insulting and rude. All of the riders were respectful, didn't chat amongst themselves, (unlike the residents again) and listened to what other people were saying. It made me feel proud to be part of this group of people.

13th July
Please don't forget its the meeting about Joey's trails tomorrow (Friday) night. Please turn up to help support the jumps. Meet at the skatepark some time before 7. [article]

Had a good time last night. Tried 360s on a mini jump and landed a few and hurt my knees a lot.

I find that digging a lot in the winter gets you into a habit of wanting to dig all the time. I am already thinking about what I want to do next winter, and thinking about starting new jumps. I think I need to relax and enjoy what I have built. Digging is addictive.

11th July
Talking of berms look at this one: 1 | 2 | 3. Thanks to sabbra.com. Also Dack Blagger has an amazing update.

10th July
New Thom Yorke album and new Regina Spektor albums out today, so my CD player picked a good day to break. The trailguide is updated.

9th July
France lost the world cup becasue the best football player in the world is also an idiot and doesn't seem to realise that there are millions of people watching him.

I nealy died on this berm:
The berm ran out and I had to jump off it before I ended up in the bushes. You can see where my tyre track stop:

Yak and Aiden aren't dead.

5th July
Tricklist has a couple of amazing videos on.

Why doesn't everyone who rides trails move to the same place?

4th July
Here are some free podcasts which you can't get anymore. Good to listen to at work, just disguise the laughter as coughing.

3rd July
I have this Friday off work, so I was going to arrange to meet up with some people and do some riding on Friday and Saturday, but I just looked at the weather forecast and it says 21mm of rain are coming on wednesday, so that looks a bit out of the question. Maybe it's a good time to get the trampoline out. Is anyone free on Friday/Saturday to ride bikes if its dry, or tramp bikes if its wet?

2nd July
Some pictures of my sailing adventure.

I like this new camera obscura section, but I will still try and do other pages with more interesting layouts as well I think.

I hit my head yesterday and things looked a bit dark with flashing lights. Then I chased a rabbit around for a bit. I must have looked mad. That was pretty wierd

1st July
New month, new design as normal. This one might stay for longer though. I have invented a "one page website" - you can see links to it on the right there, or you have have a look at it here. It is all done from one personal home page.

To find out about the compeition look at the June zine. If you can call this a zine anymore. I am getting lazy.

Some old pictures Nigel took maybe 2 years ago: Tim | Tom
